About Dana
Writing for the Second Shifters.
We spent our twenties building careers. We spent our thirties building families. Now, we're looking at the structures we built and asking: Is there space in here for me?
I write Unapologetic Mid-Life Romance for the women who are tired of being the "Manager of Everything." For the women who crave characters that have actual baggage, actual careers, and actual wrinkles.
My heroines are competent, fierce, and occasionally exhausted. My heroes are the men strong enough to handle them — and safe enough to let them surrender.
Why I Write This
Because I got tired of reading romances where 22-year-olds discovered love for the first time. I wanted to read about women who'd already had the big love, the big loss, and were now figuring out what comes after. Women who knew exactly what they wanted in bed but couldn't figure out what they wanted for breakfast. Women who'd spent so long being needed that they'd forgotten how to be wanted.
So I wrote those women. And the readers found me.
The Reading Order Question
If you love emotional depth: Start with Santorini Afterglow — it's the reader favorite and the gateway to the Mid-Life Escapes Series.
If you love suspense with your romance: Try Nine Minutes Before — a standalone that hits differently.
If you want the origin story: The Prosecco Protocol is where the friendship was forged. Just $0.99.
When I'm not writing, I'm usually hunting for the perfect glass of Cabernet, over-analyzing the traffic light system, or plotting my next escape.
The "Invisible Woman" No More.
It's time for the second act. Let's make it the best one yet.
